The Education Committee is responsible for developing programs and projects that facilitate education and assist educational institutions in Bui Division. The Education Committee is also responsible for developing programs that support the education of BFU-USA members, with a focus on BFU-USA Youth.

BFU-USA Scholarship Programs |

The BFU-USA Scholarship Programs provide financial assistance to qualified applicants studying in an accredited school, college or university in the US. The scholarships are available to full-time students, including students enrolled in Associates Degree and Baccalaureate programs. All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited program in the U.S.
- Be physically residing in the U.S.
- Have a verifiable financial need
- Have a GPA of at least 3.0 on 4.0 scale in prior educational work (copy of transcripts must be submitted)
- Not be a direct relative of a BFU-USA Executive
- Be nominated by a current BFU-USA member
Application Deadline
The scholarship application and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than May 25th of each year.
Selection Process
Selection will be based upon compliance with the eligibility requirements stated above. Applicants shall be selected by the Education Committee and confirmed by the Executive Officers of BFU-USA. Scholarship award recipients shall receive the scholarship award amount and a certificate of recognition from BFU-USA.
Scholarship Funds Disbursement
Recipients will be notified by letter, and a check for the scholarship amount will be issued to each recipient. Recipients will be awarded a minimum amount of $250, based on available funds.
